I'm a journalist, writer, and English teacher living in Berlin, from Colorado, USA.

Most recently, I interned at Deutsche Welle TV News in Berlin.

I have a Master's in Creative Writing from Kingston University in London, and a Bachelor's in Journalism with a minor in Latin American Studies from Boston University.

I was previously the Managing Editor for SAND, Berlin's English Literary Journal, and worked as a city desk correspondent for The Boston Globe. I have also had articles published in openDemocracy, truthout.org, and The Media.

I'm currently working on a young adult novel about a student newspaper, which was part of my thesis, "Neon Pink and Feminist Considerations in Young Adult Literature." Mostly it's an excuse for me to write about glitter, pop, nature, and all things neon.
